Lead project
Void Sanction
A sci-fi action game built and shipped independently. Fight through hostile alien environments, adapt your loadout, and survive escalating encounters with strange creatures and machines.
I build apps, games, and 3D experiences.
A React and React Native developer who likes turning ambitious ideas into useful, tactile products—from mobile tools to worlds you can play in.
I’m Sigmund Volden, a developer in Bergen who enjoys making useful software and playful interactive experiences. I’m most at home where product thinking, visual craft, and technical problem-solving overlap.
My background includes a Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity from the University of Bergen and professional work in web development and consulting. That foundation still shapes how I build: with attention to performance, security, and the details users actually feel.
Today I work primarily with React, React Native, Three.js, and Unity. I’ve shipped mobile tools, data-heavy web products, browser-based 3D games, and the sci-fi action game Void Sanction on Steam.
When I'm not coding, I enjoy music, fitness, hiking, gaming, and exploring new technologies.
Here are some technologies I've been working with:
